Chicago Webfriends

In early 2016, I mentioned to a group of friends on Slack that we should start a lecture series. I love to learn new things, and, as it turns out, so does my group of friends! It's a group made up primarily of people in tech, from design to development and everywhere in between, so there's a great range of knowledge and a number of people willing to speak about things they're passionate about. I facilitate the conversations, organizing locations, times, and speakers, and designed a logo and website to make the whole thing feel official.

I treated my project like a client, starting from the ground up with logo sketches, moodboards, and type and color exploration.
